Our curriculum

What your child learns here

Mulberry Learning’s own curriculum brings together the Reggio Emilia approach, Habits of Mind™ and multiple intelligences, so children build strong foundations and the habits to use them.

Habits of Mind™

12 of the 16 Habits of Mind, including persisting, managing impulsivity and thinking flexibly, taught through games and stories. Mulberry Learning is the first and only preschool network in the world to be certified by The Institute for Habits of Mind (USA).

Literacy Fun™

A structured, step-by-step path to strong English: Rigby phonics, reading and comprehension, creative and journal writing, and public speaking. Children build a word bank of over 4,500 words by age 6.

Chinese Master™

Listening, speaking, reading and writing in Mandarin, with Chinese culture, calligraphy and celebrations. Over 2,000 words, 80 idioms (成语) and 16 classic poems (古诗) by age 6.

Maths Quest™

Number sense, logical thinking and spatial concepts, taught from concrete to pictorial to abstract so every step makes sense.

Project Inquiry @ Mulberry™

A structured scientific inquiry over six months, in three phases: topic exploration, investigative research, then results and conclusions. Children build communication, problem-solving, questioning and thinking skills along the way.

Questions about programmes

Which class will my child be in?

Classes in Singapore go by the year your child is born, not their exact age. Tell us your child’s birthday when you book a tour and we’ll confirm the right class.

Can my child join in the middle of the year?

Yes, when there is a place in their class. Places are limited by class size and waitlists may apply, so it helps to visit early.

My child doesn’t speak Mandarin at home. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Children pick up Mandarin through songs, stories and play every day, at their own pace.

How much are the fees?

Fees depend on your child’s level and whether you choose full day or half day. We’ll go through them on your tour, including any savings you qualify for.

Full day or half day

A schedule that fits your week

Full day

7:00am to 7:00pm

For working parents. Breakfast, lunch and snacks, a proper nap, the full curriculum and afternoon enrichment, with flexible drop-off and pick-up.

Half day

Mornings

The core curriculum in a shorter day. Session times depend on your child’s level, so we’ll confirm them, and which classes have places, on your tour.
